Prosthetics & Orthotics

Digital foot capture
built for orthotic precision.

Prosthetists and Orthotists need more than surface-level impressions. Amfit helps capture precise plantar data, review the record, and choose the production path that fits the workflow, whether for central fabrication or in-house production with a Contact Digitizer and mill.

  • 538 precision pins
  • Full-contact scan capture
  • Central fab or in-house production

Talk to a Specialist
  • Why is the Contact Digitizer a strong fit for P&O?

O&P work depends on an accurate anatomical foundation. The Contact Digitizer captures the loaded plantar surface through 538 pins and soft-tissue deflection, giving you a more clinically useful record than a surface-only scan.

  • Can we send Digitizer scans to Amfit for fabrication?

Yes. Capture in your office, review the file in Correct & Confirm, then send it to Amfit's central fabrication lab in Vancouver, WA. Finished devices ship back in 3 to 7 business days.

  • Can we fabricate orthotics in-house?

Yes. Pair the Contact Digitizer with a CAD/CAM Mill Machine and Correct & Confirm to design and produce devices under one roof, without sending work out.

  • Do previous scan records support reorders?

Yes. Saved scans and the modifications you build in Correct & Confirm can be reused, so reorders and follow-up devices stay consistent without starting from scratch.

  • Is Correct & Confirm part of the workflow?

Yes. Correct & Confirm is the design layer in both paths. It exposes placement, angle, structure, thickness, and shape so you can refine each device before it goes to fabrication or the mill.

Build a P&O workflow around accurate capture.

Whether you want fabrication handled for you or prefer to produce orthotics in-house, Amfit helps you start with a more precise digital foundation.
