Data-Informed Profiles
Four distinct profiles developed from real foot-scan patterns rather than one universal shape.
Conforma
Every scan reveals a different need. Conforma gives you another way to answer it.
Why Conforma
Most over-the-counter insoles begin with a generalized arch shape. Conforma begins with the patterns identified through decades of Amfit scanning, fitting, and testing. Those patterns informed four distinct profiles: Basso, Medio, Stretta, and Alto. The result is a more purposeful way to match ready-to-wear support to arch shape, foot width, footwear, and individual needs.
Conforma combines an anatomic arch profile with a flexible platform designed to move with the foot. Strategically placed flex grooves allow the insole to bend through gait while maintaining support where it is needed.

The new Amfit software can recommend the Conforma profile that best matches the scan.
Dispense Conforma the same day, proceed with a custom orthotic, or use both when appropriate.
The Conforma Collection
Low Arch Support
Designed for low arches and overpronation. Helps provide stability and all-day comfort.
Medium Arch Support
Balanced support for neutral arches. Promotes alignment and everyday comfort.
Narrow Fit
A narrower fit built on the Medio arch profile. Designed for slimmer feet and lower-volume footwear.
High Arch Support
Built for high arches and supination. Cradles the arch so pressure distributes evenly.
Full-Length or Three-Quarter
Room in the toe box for tighter footwear. Ideal for performance, dress, and casual shoes. Three-quarter designs stop behind the ball of the foot, so they fit footwear a full-length insole would crowd.
Talk with AmfitCommon Questions
Common questions about Conforma, from fit and sizing to stocking and ordering.
Talk to a SpecialistYou can find out your exact profile with a foot scan from an Amfit provider, or use the 10-second finger test: stand with even weight on both feet and slide your index finger under the inside of your arch as far as it will go. Less than one knuckle under is a low arch (Basso), up to the first knuckle is medium (Medio), and past the first knuckle is high (Alto).
Conforma is a pre-molded arch match, ready to wear immediately. Custom orthotics are built from a 538-point scan and precision-milled to the exact geometry of the individual foot. Some situations call for a fully custom orthotic; others are well served by a ready-to-wear solution.
No. Conforma insoles come in full sizes, but they fit a half size up. For example, a size 8 insole will fit a size 8 to 8.5 shoe.
Yes. Conforma is designed to work in unison with modern running shoe design, and fits nearly any shoe. Remove the factory insole first and insert Conforma in its place.
Conforma provides supportive arch positioning and a cradling heel cup that can significantly reduce discomfort from plantar fasciitis, flat feet, and general heel pain. For specific medical diagnoses or severe pain, a custom orthotic provides a precision-built fit.
Full-length Conformas run heel to toe and replace the footwear's existing insole. Three-quarter designs stop behind the ball of the foot, leaving room in the toe box for tighter footwear such as performance, dress, and casual shoes.
Start with the patients you see most. The four profiles cover low, medium, and high arches plus a narrower fit, and full-length and three-quarter designs cover different footwear. An Amfit representative can help you build a starting mix for your practice.
