Amfit is committed to making amfit.com usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology.
The standard we work toward
We are working to bring amfit.com in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines are the international reference for making web content more accessible, and Level AA is the level most commonly expected of business websites.
We want to be straightforward about where we are: this is a target we are working toward, not a conformance claim. Accessibility work on this site is ongoing, and there are areas that do not yet meet it. We would rather tell you that plainly than publish a claim we cannot stand behind.
What we are doing
- Reviewing the site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA and fixing what we find, working from the pages people use most
- Testing with automated accessibility tooling as part of our release process
- Checking keyboard navigation, heading structure, text alternatives for images, and color contrast
- Treating accessibility as part of building a page rather than a pass at the end
Known limitations
Some parts of the site depend on third-party components or on documents we did not author, and those may not meet the same standard. This includes the interactive provider map, some embedded video, and research and specification documents published as PDFs.
If you need information that is only available in one of these formats, contact us and we will get it to you in a form that works for you. That is not a workaround we offer reluctantly. It is a commitment, and there is no charge for it.
Tell us about a barrier
If you run into something on this site that you cannot use, we want to know. Reports from people who actually hit the problem are the most useful information we get, and they go to the top of the list.
When you contact us, it helps if you can tell us the page address, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology or browser you were using. If that is inconvenient, tell us in whatever way is easiest and we will follow up.
