Combine the CAD/CAM Mill with a Contact Digitizer or Impress Scanner for complete control of the insole fabrication process – from casting to fabrication. The CAD/CAM Mill employs a 3-axis precision stepper transport system that carves a negative cast from a digital data image using Amfit’s EVA Blank, or a range of other approved materials. Additionally, the Mill can carve a positive of a cast to use for vacuum form of both rigid and semi-rigid custom orthoses. Use materials such as polypropylene plastic or carbon fiber for vacuum forming. The System features our easy-to-use Correct and Confirm™ software and, based on orthotic design specifications, mills an insole in just 6-9 minutes. An ideal insole fabrication solution!
